About
Mengyuan accepts briefs in all areas of law.
Before coming to the Bar, Mengyuan gained experience across litigation, public law, legislative scrutiny and advisory work. Her litigation experience included matters in the Land and Environment Court, including planning, environmental and regulatory proceedings, as well as broader government litigation.
Mengyuan was also Associate to Judge D J Payne of the District Court of New South Wales, where she worked across criminal trials, appeals, bail proceedings and sentencing matters.
Her broader experience includes commercial and regulatory litigation, statutory interpretation, government decision-making, and the analysis of legislation and delegated legislation.
Mengyuan accepts briefs to advise and appear, both led and unled, in courts and tribunals across a broad range of matters.
